Local Community Festivals Grant Awards Scheme 2010 / Scéim Bronnta Deontais le haghaidh Féilte Pobail Áitúil 2010
Applications are invited for the Local Community Festivals Grant Awards Scheme 2010. Galway City Council will provide funding to support local community festivals in the city again this year. The purpose of this is to encourage, support and celebrate participation by local residents in community life in neighbourhoods around the city.
If your organisation is planning an event in your local area you may be eligible for a grant under this scheme. Grants will not be awarded for occasional or "once-off" events such as musical performances or sports days and this scheme is quite specifically designed to support small-scale local events organised by local people in 2010.
