Estate Management
The City Council owns and manages over 2100 properties in Galway City.
When the Council allocates you your house you become a member of the community in which you live. As such, the Council encourages you to become actively involved in your estate.
Estate Management is primarily about making local authority estates better places to live in. The City Council employs three Tenant Liaison Officers (TLO) each with their own designated area.
The Tenant Liaison Officers provide a wide range of services to tenants:
- Advice to Tenants on all details of their tenancy
- Development of Residents Associations
- Provide details of services being provided in the area
- Assist in problems in which may occur in the estates
- Anti-social behaviour
Any enquiries in relation to Estate Management can be directed to the Tenant Liaison Officers or Leonore O'Neill in the Housing Office at 091-536590
