Housing Strategy

Part 5 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 commenced on the 1st of November 2000 and was amended by the Planning and Development(Amendment) Act 2002 on 24th Dec 2002.

Part 5 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 required that Planning Authorities must prepare Housing Strategies and integrate them into their Development Plans.

The current Housing Strategy is integrated as Chapter 10 in the Development Plan 2005-2011.
