Assessment of Housing Needs
Under Section 9 of the Housing Act 1988, Housing Authorities are required to make periodic assessments of the need to provide housing for persons who cannot provide their own accommodation.
These assessments are carried out at three-year intervals. The most recent assessment was carried out in March, 2005.
