Further Information Provisions
If Galway City Council considers that in order to deal with the planning application Further Information is necessary it may, within 8 weeks of receipt of a valid application, require the applicant by notice in writing, to submit further information.
Applicants should note that if the Request for Further Information is not complied with, the planning application shall be declared to be withdrawn after the period of 6 months from the date of the requirement for further information or evidence has elapsed.
In the case of an application for Extension of duration of planning permission if the requirement for further information is not complied with within 4 weeks Galway City Council shall refuse the application.
