How to Appeal
An appeal must be made in writing stating the following:
- Name and address of the appellant/person making the referral and of the person, if any acting as agent.
- Subject matter of the appeal/referral
- State in full the grounds of appeal/referral and the reasons, considerations and arguments on which they are based.
Any submissions being made to the Board must be accompanied by the acknowledgement by Galway City Council of receipt of the submissions/observations in relation to the appeal in question and by such fee (if any) as may be payable to the Board.

All appeals/referral should be made within the specified time.
Persons wishing to appeal should note that an appeal / referral must be fully complete from the start. If the appeal / referral does not comply with the requirements it shall be deemed invalid.
