Guide to the Application Process to Operate a Non-Motorised Passenger Vehicle

A Licence is required to operate a non-motorised passenger vehicle within the administrative area of Galway City Council in accordance with the Non-Motorised Passenger Transporter Bye-Laws 2010.

In order to apply for a Licence, you must complete an application form, which can be obtained from:-

  1. Transportation, Infrastructure, Recreation & Amenity,

    3. The completed application form should then be returned to the Transportation, Infrastructure, Recreation & Amenity Section, at the above address, by post or in person to the public counter (9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Monday to Friday).

    Please ensure that the application form is accompanied with all the necessary documentation and the appropriate fee.

    The following fee will apply to operate a non-motorised passenger vehicle with effect from the 1st November, 2010:

    €100 Licence fee per vehicle per year.

    Payment Methods:

    Payment of the fee may be made by cash, cheque or credit card.

      Ba chóir an fhoirm iarratais chomhlánaithe a sheoladh ar ais ansin chuig an Roinn Iompar, Infreastruchtúr, Áineasa agus Conláistí ag an seoladh thuas nó go pearsanta ag an gcuntar poiblí. ( 9:00-16:00 Luan-Aoine)

      Déan cinnte go bhfuil an fhoirm iarratais in éineacht leis na doiciméid atá riachtanach, agus an táille chuí.

      Beidh an táille i leanas i gceist chun feithicil phaisinéirí neamh-mhótaraithe a oibriú ón 1ú Samhain, 2010:

      Táille Cheadúnais € 100 in aghaidh na feithicle in aghaidh na bliana.

      Modhanna Íocaíochta:

      Is féidir an táille a íoc trí airgead tirim, seic nó cárta creidmheasa.
