Taxi and Hackneys
The Commissions for Taxi Regulation was established as an independent public body provided by the Taxi Regulation Act 2003.
The Commission has established a new National Vehicle Licensing System. The National Car Testing Service Limited (NCTS) has been awarded the contract to administer vehicle licences on the Commisions's behalf.
All licence applications and renewals are to be administered by The National Car Testing Service.
