Waste Management
Waste management is widely recognised as one of the most problematic issues facing Ireland’s environment. Too much waste is generated in this country and too much waste is sent to landfill.
Over the last few years, Galway City Council have worked hard to address these problems and have introduced a range of services and initiatives aimed at encouraging households in the city to manage their waste correctly and responsibly.
