Composting Facilities
A composting facility operates at the Carrowbrowne site. It is licensed to accept 9,500 tonnes annually and forms an integral part of the waste management infrastructure.
The operation of the facility is in strict compliance with the licences regulations.
The content of the Brown Bins of over 20,000 customers is composted at the facility, which also accepts biodegradable waste from a number of private waste collectors.
Compost Waste will only be accepted into this site by prior arrangement.
