Public Notice: Grant for the Replacement of Lead Water Service Connection Scheme

Galway City Council invites applications from qualifying homeowners who wish to be considered for the above grant scheme.  The scheme is promoted by Galway City Council.   The objective of the scheme is to assist qualifying homeowners to replace lead water service connections from the boundary stopcock to the kitchen sink tap.   A grant of up to 60% of the approved cost of the works subject to a maximum of €300 is being made available.  

Application forms and explanatory memoranda are available from the Transportation & Infrastructure Department, Galway City Council, City Hall and Grammar School Annex, College Road, Galway, Tel. 091 894310 or from our website www.galwaycity.ie

Completed application forms must be submitted to the Administrative Officer, Transportation & Infrastructure, Grammar School Annex, College Road, Galway.

The deadline for the receipt of applications has been extended to 4.00pm Friday, 30th October 2009.
