Galway City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE, in accordance with Article 81 of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended), of its intention to carry out alterations, realignment, and junction improvements along the existing Dublin Road R338 from Moneenageisha Cross (Ffrench Roundabout) to the Renmore Road signalised junction. These proposed works are to facilitate the provision of a dedicated bus lane. The proposed bus lane will operate in the outbound direction and widening on both sides of the carriageway will be required over a significant length of the scheme.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection in the Planning Office, City Hall, College Road, Galway during normal office hours (0900- 1600 hours) from Monday, 19th November, 2007 to Wednesday, 9th January, 2008.
Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development is situated may be made in writing to the undersigned, to be received not later than 4.00p.m. Wednesday 23rd January, 2008.
