As part of Budget 2024, the Government signed off on a package of €257m for the Increased Cost of Business (ICOB) Grant as a vital measure for small and medium businesses. Six-Month Waiver of Commercial Rates

On the 23rd July 2020 The Government announced in its July Stimulus Package a 100% waiver, in the form of a credit in lieu of commercial rates to be applied to the rate accounts of all businesses, for a six-month period (27 March to 27 September), with a small number of categories excepted. Further guidance for Businesses will be prepared and disseminated in the near future.
