Galway City Tidy Towns and Garden Competition - Entries Now Being Accepted

Entries are now being accepted for the Galway City Tidy Towns and Garden Competition 2015

The Competition, which has been running since 1961, is open to all private gardens, housing estates, schools, businesses and community groups in the City.

A Competition judge will visit your garden in July.

Over 100 prizes are awarded in the competition. For private houses, there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded in each geographical area, with overall prizes for the best garden, best floral display and best lawn.

For residential areas, prizes are awarded for best estate in each category, with overall prizes for residential estate with the best and neatest gardens and residential estate with best flower or shrub beds.

For commercial and business premises, 1st and 2nd are awarded in each category. Each prizewinner receives a certificate and a voucher, depending on the category.
