Galway City Council has commenced an extensive campaign to update the Register of Electors for the year 2017/2018 period. This Register contains the details of all of those who are entitled to vote and will be used for all Local, General, and European elections and Referenda, held between the period 15 th February 2017 and 14th February 2018.
Enumerators will be calling to all households in Galway City during the months of August and September to update the Register. All enumerators will carry Galway City Council identification.
If you are unavailable when they call please complete and return the Registration Form, which they will leave at your house, to ensure your registered details are correct.
The form should be returned within two weeks, whether or not you are already registered to vote.
