NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council has made an order closing:-

Cathedral: Gaol Loop Road to University Road including lower Car Park.

Period of Closure:

Lower Carpark Only: From 4pm Sunday, 18^th to 6pm Monday 19^th of September, 2016.

Carpark plus Gaol Road: From 10am to 6pm Monday, 19^th of September, 2016.

Reason: To facilitate Defence Forces Event.

Alternative Routes: Alternative routes for traffic will be via Presentation Road/Mill Street.

Diversion Routes: Cars coming from both directions can travel onto Newcastle Road and turn off onto Presentation Road/Mill Street.

Alternative parking will be located on Dyke Road or Mill Street car parks.

Advance signage will be in place prior to event commencing.
