Tenders are invited from suitably qualified persons for the operation and maintenance of the Galway City Council Kiosk at the above location.
It is intended that the kiosk will be open from Easter 2017 to mid October 2017 and will serve teas, coffee, non alcoholic beverages and confectionary similar to previous years. Persons tendering are to tender on the basis of the opening hours as follows:
9am to 7pm – 7 days a week
Persons wishing to tender for the operation of the facility can view the tender documents on www.galwaycity.ie or obtain documents from Customer Service Department, City Hall, College Road, Galway during normal office hours.
The closing date for receipt of tender documents which must be submitted in hard copy to the Recreation & Amenity Department is 12 noon, Friday 31st March, 2017.
Tender clarification as at 23/3/17 – Does the tender sum (non-refundable) relate to the monthly sum or full amount for the entire licence period?
The tender sum is the full amount for the entire licence period. However, as per amended Section D of tender document, payments shall be in instalments as follows:
- €3,000 of this sum to be paid in advance of signing the agreement
- The balance of the tender sum to be paid no later than 31st July, 2017
