Draft Galway City Council (Street Performance and Busking) Byelaws 2017

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that Galway City Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the provisions of Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001, as amended by the Local Government Reform Act, 2014 propose to make Street Performance and Busking Bye-Laws for the Administrative and Functional Area of Galway City. These Bye Laws incorporate the provision of Street Performance (Prohibited Periods) Bye-Laws 2011.

A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws is available for inspection at the offices of the City Council, Customer Services Desk, College Road, Galway, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Friday 10th November, 2017 to Monday 11th December, 2017 .

A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws, or any part thereof, may be obtained on application to Galway City Council.

Representations or submissions may be made to the Environment Department, Galway City Council in writing, or email to by any person not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday 20th December, 2017 and any such representations or submissions shall be considered by the City Council prior to making the Bye-Laws.
