Notice of Decision


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council has made an order closing:-

William Street West: from Henry Street to Munster Avenue.

Period of Closure:

Saturday, 23rd of August, 2014, from 12.00pm to 2.30am.

Reason: To facilitate on-street entertainment as part of Galway Community Pride.

Alternative Routes: Alternative routes for traffic will be via signposted diversion routes.

Diversion Routes: An alternative route going east is available via Sea Road, Munster Avenue, Fr. Griffin Road, Fairhill Road and Dominick Street. An alternative route going West is available via Dominick Street Upper, Henry Street, St. Helen's Street, St. Mary's Road, The Crescent and Sea Road. Local access will be maintained at all times. Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
