Is Galway City Council responsible for Community Centres in Galway City?
Galway City Council owns and runs three Community Centres.
All centres have a Sports Hall, which can cater for a wide range of sports, meeting rooms and multi-function requirements.

What activities take place in the Community Centres?
The centres provide for a large range of indoor sporting activities, e.g. Badminton, basketball, karate, volley ball, indoor soccer, kick boxing, etc. They also cater for other leisure activities such as dance, yoga, etc. and for social events such as Active Retired Groups, Mother and Toddler Groups, etc.
