The centre is a Forum providing creativity, dialogue, performance, publication and exhibition amongst professional artists and to make the arts acessible to the community in Galway.
The University Art Gallery is located in the Qaudrangle and hosts a variety of visually stimulating exhibitions during the academic year.
The venue promotes the emerging Galway and national artists as well as touring exhibitions from international embassies, cultural organisations and educational institutions. Students staff and the wider community are invited to visit the gallery and enjoy its varied visual programme.
