The Galway City Development Board was established in March 2000. Its Vision was “Gaillimh! Beo agus Bríomhar! A City that people are proud to be part of, to work in, to live in and which is attractive to visitors and investors alike”.
The primary objective of the Board was to produce a ten-year economic, social and cultural strategy for Galway City and oversee its implementation.
