Galway Tidy Towns and Garden Competition

The Galway Tidy Towns and Garden Competition is run annually and aims to encourage and promote householders and businesses to take a greater pride and interest in their own gardens.

Generous Prizes are awarded to winners and runner-up’s.

Residential Areas /Private houses
Youth Group Project
Public and Commercial Buildings

The National City Neighbourhoods competition allows winners in our local competition to represent the city at national level.

To enter the competition you should Download The Tidy Town and Garden Competition Entry Form

Entrants should note:

Entries will only be accepted from:
- Residents Associations
- Community or Youth Group
- Commercial Associations
The last year winners carry a handicap of 5 points
More information can be obtained from the Environment Education Officer in City Hall.

The completed form should be returned on or before the 7th July 2006:
