Individuals and organisations are invited to apply for funding for projects that conserve and raise awareness of Ireland’s Heritage.
The list of 2006 Heritage Grant Recipients can be accessed on the Heritage Council website.
A number of measures are also provided for in the Finance Acts, which allow for tax concessions where works have been carried out to buildings of significance.

Applications for Heritage Grants usually close in November of the year before. For example for 2006 Grants the closing date for application would have been in November 2005. You should verfiy this on the Heritage Council website.
The Buildings at Risk Program is open until 31st March 2006.
