A project team has been set-up within Galway City Council to oversee the physical and social regeneration of the Ballinfoile Park area.
A master plan will be developed, and once agreed, will form the basis for a submission to the Department of the Environment, Heritage & Local Government for funding for the project. It will also form the basis for applications for funding under various RAPID initiatives.
The master plan will be developed in conjunction with the community living in the Ballinfoile Park area and any other key stakeholders. It is hoped to establish a working group consisting of community representatives to work with the project team in developing the plan for both the physical and social regeneration.
