Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2008 - 2012
In pursuant to Section 48 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 - 2006, Galway City Council have prepared a Draft Development Contribution Scheme for the period 2008 to 2012.
The Scheme provides for the levying of development contributions in accordance with the planning legislation, the levies collected being used for the provision of public infrastructure and facilities benefiting the development of the City.
The Draft Development Contribution Scheme, setting out the basis of the levies and details of the revised development contributions, will be on public display at the following locations from the 26th June, 2008 to 29th August, 2008.

Submissions or observations in regard to the proposed Draft Scheme may be made in writing to the Planning Authority, or forwarded by email to planning@galwaycity.ie, and addressed to the
Director of Services,
Planning Department,
City Hall,
College Road,
Galway
and titled, ‘Draft Development Contribution Scheme’.
The submissions or observations received will be considered by the City Council in the context of the final scheme.
