Stolen Bins

If your bin is stolen you can get a replacement bin. There is a charge of €25 for lost or stolen bins.
This is payable in advance to Galway City Council by:

In Cash by going to the Cash Office in City Hall (9.00am - 4.00pm)
By Cheque made payable to Galway City Council
Postal Order
By Credit/Laser cards by phoning 091 536595 ( from 9.00am to 5.00pm)

Returning Your Bin

If you think the refuse service will no longer be required a Return of Bins Form must be completed so that the charges will cease.

Download Return of Bins Forms

You must include details of private collectors and/or receipts.
Galway City Council must be satisifed that refuse is being disposed of in a proper and legal manner.

This form must be completed and returned to:
