GALWAY APPOINTED STANDS
(Street Service Vehicles)
BYE-LAWS 2009
Notice is hereby given that Galway City Council in exercise of the powers vested in them by Section 84 (as substituted by Section 15 of the Road Traffic Act 2002 (No. 12 of 2002)) of the Road Traffic Act 1961 (No. 24 of 1961), propose to make bye-laws in respect of Street Service Vehicles Stands (Taxi-Ranks) in its administrative area.
A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws is available for inspection at the offices of the City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, for a period of 4 weeks to the 14th August, 2009.
A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws, or any part thereof, may be obtained on application to the City Council.
Representation or submissions may be made to the City Council, in writing, by any person not later than 4 p.m. Friday, 28th August, 2009, and any such representations or submissions shall be considered by the City Council prior to making of the Bye-Laws.
