The scheme is promoted by Galway City Council. The objective of the scheme is to assist qualifying homeowners to replace lead water service connections from the boundary stopcock to the kitchen sink tap. A grant of up to 60% of the approved cost of the works subject to a maximum of €300 is being made available.
Application forms and explanatory memoranda are available from the Transportation & Infrastructure Department, Galway City Council, City Hall and Grammar School Annex, College Road, Galway, Tel. 091 894310 or below.
Completed application forms must be submitted to the Administrative Officer, Transportation & Infrastructure, Grammar School Annex, College Road, Galway not later than Wednesday, the 30th September 2009.
