Galway City Council has commenced an extensive campaign to update the Register of Electors for the 2010/2011 period. This Register will be used for all elections, local, general, referendums, held between the period 15th February 2010 and 14th February 2011.
Enumerators will be calling to all households in the City for the remainder of August and the month of September to take the names of qualified electors. All Enumerators will carry Galway City Council Identification. If they find you are not at home, please complete, sign and return the Registration Form which they will leave at your household, within two weeks of the visit.
The form should be returned whether or not you are already registered for voting.
