The Galway City and County Sports Partnerships are hosting the inaugural Galway Sports Conference at the Radisson Hotel in Galway on Saturday 3rd October 2009. This event is open to the public and contains some of the finest minds in sports performance available.
Every high performance sportsperson, regardless of the code they participate in, will tell you that there are many variables that make the difference between being good and being great. This gathering of experts will explore those variables in detail and will utilise their collective experience in international sports to provide clear, concise and practical advice to the current coach and athlete.
The participant will benefit from the lecture and practical workshop approach where areas such as sports psychology, creating teamwork, developing speed and strength, training young athletes, sports injury, and sports science are broken down and made applicable to the local and national level sportsperson.
