Household Hazardous Waste - Free Disposal Service

A specially-equipped hazardous waste collection vehicle will be present at the:

Galway City Council Recycling Centre,
Liosbaun Industrial Estate,
Saturday 3rd  October

From 9am (closed for lunch 1-2pm)

This truck will accept hazardous waste NOT ACCEPTED at the Galway City Council Recycling Centre, including:

Adhesives, Paints, Cleaning agents, Pesticides, Waste medicines, Inks, Poisons, Glues, Paint stripper, Paint thinner, Bleaches, Caustic soda, Insectides, Sealants, Thinners, Weed killers.
 
Batteries, cooking oil, waste engine oil and fluorescent tubes can be disposed of free of charge at the Galway City Recycling Centre.
 

Please note, the truck will leave the site once it is full and can no longer accept items.

As it is very difficult to predict the amount of hazardous waste that will be delivered, we cannot guarantee collection times on the day.
