  • Why has the water supply in to my property lost pressure?

If you notice a reduction in water pressure, check with your neighbour to see if they are also experiencing the same issue. If they do not have a problem with their water pressure, this may indicate a leak on your service pipes.

If the leak is between your boundary wall and the property, it is your responsibility (the property owner) to repair it and you should contact your plumber.

If the leak is between the watermain (usually located between the roadway and the boundary wall) it is Galway City Council's responsibility to repair it. You should contact Irish Water on 1850 278 278
