LÉ William B. Yeats Adoption

On the 15th September 2018, Galway City Council on behalf of the citizens of Galway City formally adopted the Irish Naval Ship, LÉ William Butler Yeats and resolved to develop a special relationship with the ship and crew and promote awareness of the role and functions of the naval service.

The captain and crew of the LÉ William Butler Yeats in accepting the adoption undertook to nurture a special relationship with the City of Galway.
