COVID-19 Emergency Funding approved by Galway City Council

Galway City Council has approved grants totalling €29,180 under the COVID-19 Emergency Fund to support a wide range of local community and voluntary groups and organisations operating throughout Galway City involved in the delivery of COVID-19 community response efforts.

As part of the Galway City Community Call initiative, 15 projects have been approved funding which give financial assistance towards exceptional, once-off costs related to the response to COVID-19.

The Department of Rural and Community Development provided this funding to Galway City Council to administer locally in order to provide immediate and urgently needed funding, targeted appropriately throughout the City.
