Galway City Council Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) Bye-Laws No. 1-2023

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (No. 44 of 2004) proposes to make Bye-Laws namely Galway City Council Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) Bye-Laws No. 1-2023, in respect of implementing special speed limits on public roads in its administrative area.
A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws is available for inspection at the offices of Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from Friday, 3rd March, 2023 to Monday, 3rd April 2023.
A copy of the proposed Bye-Laws, or any part thereof, may be obtained on application to Galway City Council.
Objections to the Draft Bye-Laws may be made to the undersigned in writing or by email to roads@galwaycity.ie by any person not later than 4.00 p.m. on Monday, the 3rd April, 2023 and any such objections shall be considered by the City Council prior to making the Bye-Laws.
