The Mayor of Galway City, Councillor Clodagh Higgins, is encouraging young people to express and explore their creativity in the city on Saturday 10th of June for Cruinniú na nÓg, the National Day of Creativity for Young People. This year we are delighted to be able to offer events across the spectrum of creativity, from music to disco to visual art.
Speaking at the launch at Ard Family Resource Centre, Cllr. Higgins expressed her delight that Galway City Council and Creative Ireland could invite young people to come together and explore their creativity in their local communities. “Cruinniú na nÓg champions the creative potential of every child and allows children from across Galway city to come together to play, explore and discover. I want to encourage everyone to explore their creativity today and to join in making Cruinniú na nÓg 2023 a day for everyone.”
