NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council has made an order closing:
Highfield Park (Estate): From the Junction of the L-1001-0 & L-10011-0 (entrance to Highfield
Park) including Rockmount Road for 900m within Highfield Park Estate. Route follows Oakley
Crescent, Cedarwood Close, Ashdale Road, Sycamore Drive, Ardmore Road & Avondale Road.
Period of Closure: From 4.30pm to 9.00pm, Saturday 3rd June 2023
Reason: To facilitate start and finish of Criterium Cycle Road Race.
Alternative Routes: Alternative routes for traffic will be via signposted diversion routes.
Diversion Routes: Access to and from the estate will be for local access only (residents etc.). Route will be via Sycamore Drive & Beechmount Road.
