There is currently a nation-wide issue affecting the Planning Applications map.

When you click on the link to access the “Planning Applications Map Finder (Full Planning Register)”, because of a national issue that is outside of Galway City Council’s control, the map will show as blank with no options to select layers or see any information.

Please allow up to 5 mins for the information to be displayed.

You will then get an error saying the NPWS (National Parks & Wildlife Service) map could not be loaded – this is the national issue causing the delay. Click OK to dismiss the message. The planning data will have loaded at this point. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
