LANDS FOR GRAZING

Tenders are invited for the grazing of cattle or sheep on lands outlined hereunder on a 24-month system and with the possible extension of 12 months.

Tenders in a sealed envelope marked ‘Tender for Grazing’ should be submitted to the undersigned to arrive not later than 4pm on Thursday 23rd November 2023.

Successful tenderers will be required to produce the following documents:

-  A current certificate from the Local District Veterinary Office of the Department of Agriculture.

-  Provide evidence of public and employers liability, indemnifying Galway City Council for the duration of the grazing agreement.

Acceptance of tenders is subject to a minimum current market value for grazing lands per acre.

The City Council does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
