Galway City Council in association with its public lighting maintenance contractor has initiated a programme of public lighting upgrade works across the city.

On 15th June last, team members from Galway City Council travelled to Geel in Belgium as part of our Interreg-funded New European Bauhaus Academy (NEBA) project. Galway City Council’s Architect's Department staff were joined by local stakeholders from the University of Galway and the Atlantic Technological University (ATU), as well as two spatial planning graduate students.
