Yes - prior permission is required. If you wish to hold an event or film in Galway City, the applicant must submit the following information in writing:
- Where the event is to take place
- What will the event entail
- When the event is scheduled to take place
- The purpose of the event.
- Potential impact of the event on road users, people in the area
