Park and Ride

Local authorities, together with public transport providers, may provide park and ride facilities so that people can park their car in a designated car park and transfer to public transport.

When does the Christmas Park and Ride Service begin?

The Park and Ride Service from Galway Racecourse to Galway Coach Station will not be operating during Christmas 2025.  Alternative arrangements are in place, enabling motorists to PARK FOR FREE at either ATU on the Old Dublin Road or Dangan Sports Complex On the University Of Galway Campus and to avail of local bus services at their own expense.
