Illegal Dumping in our city, as well as being unsightly, causes significant harm to the environment and to wildlife. It is also a potential fire hazard and risk to public health.
Due to street rehabilitation works to Churchyard Street from Monday the 6th of October to Friday 28th November 2025 part of the St. Nicholas Casual Traders Market will be temporarily moved during this period to St. Patrick’s School Car Park.
We encourage members of the public who frequent the market on the weekends to ensure you visit here also to see a vibrant and diverse set of traders set up a mini market during the period.
Market traders remain on Lombard Street and a part of Churchyard Street so be sure to see what they have on offer also.
