The purpose of the Arts Grant is to stimulate public interest, foster knowledge, appreciation and improve standards in the arts.
Arts Grants for Organisations are in two categories:
- Professional Series
- Community, Voluntary and Amateur Series

The bursary is for Galway City-based creative practitioners to develop new work and to support creative and professional practices.

Galway City Council is invites applications Galway City Council invites applications from school and community bands in Galway City for the 2026 Band Grant .
School bands and community bands from all musical genres can apply.
Support is for band development, work towards performance, and performances in Galway City
