Galway County Council & Galway City Council will be providing a Bulky Goods Collection at the Tuam, Ballinasloe and Clifden Civic Amenity Sites and at Barna Recycling Waste facility on the Headford Road from Monday the 4th of August to Sunday the 17th of August 2025 (subject to review)

Hazardous waste
Armchairs and 3 piece suites, Bags of household waste etc
Toys / Trampolines etc
Wardrobes, Bedside Lockers, Ceramic items
Bedframes, Textiles
Dining Tables and Chairs
Gate Fee:
€5 per Van/Car and Trailer
Please note that this service must be booked via the Barna Recycling Waste website (below) before arriving at any of the above sites.

Pre-booking is essential to avail of the €5 gate fee. Failure to do so will result in the individual being required to pay the gate and weighbridge fee.
