Galway City Council invites applications for funding for sports clubs and organisations in Galway City. This fund supports local clubs and community groups to deliver physical activity in the city of Galway. With this fund, clubs will be aided to increase their coaching and volunteer capacity. This fund is delivered in collaboration with Galway Sports Partnership. The grant also provides financial support for clubs involved in a variety of sports from mainstream to minority.
Funding may be used for the following:
- Equipment
- Coaching courses
- Travel expenses (within the Republic of Ireland)
- Training for volunteers
Mandatory meetings on the grant application will take place on:
Wednesday 23rd of July in the Clybaun Hotel, Clybaun Road at 7pm
or
Thursday 24th July in the Connacht Hotel, Dublin Road at 7pm.

Late applications will not be considered.

Please note: Maximum grant available is €3,500 per club. Total fund available - €140,000.
