Monivea Road (East) Active Travel Scheme - Drop-In Public Information Event

Galway City Council is seeking to improve walking and cycling infrastructure along the length of Monivea Road (East). This development will provide a safe and attractive route for walkers, wheelers and cyclists, including vulnerable road users.A Part 8 Planning Application has been made in respect of this scheme.

A drop-in public information event for this project will be held on at St. James’ GAA Clubhouse, Michael Collins Road (H91 H983) on August 13, 2026 between 3:00pm and 7:00pm.
