2026 Casual Trading Licences

Casual Trading Act, 1995 (Casual Trading Bye-laws, 2011)

1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026 

Applications are invited from interested and suitable traders for a Casual Trading Licence(s) at St. Nicholas Market, Churchyard Street (Saturday and Sunday) and for the Eyre Square Market (Monday to Saturday) for 2026 from the 1st of January 2026 to 31st December 2026 trading period. 

All applications for the 2026 Casual Trading Licence period must be fully completed and submitted online by visiting  www.galwaycity.ie/casualtradinglicence

Closing date for fully completed online application forms is 4:00pm Friday, 24th October 2025.

Please note that no late applications will be accepted.
