All roads are now open. 

Cleanup still underway so take care in relation to loose debris and fallen trees. 

Do not approach any power lines that may be down. Report fallen electricity wires to ESB at 1800 372 999.

Woodlands and pitches remain closed over the weekend.

Galway City Council out of hours number is (091) 536 400.

All Galway City Council woodlands will close tomorrow (Friday 3 October), through to Saturday, pending inspections by our staff.

Spot flooding may occur throughout the city – please be mindful of other road users in areas with spot flooding, in particular pedestrians and cyclists.

Due to the impacts of Storm Amy, Galway City Council pitches will be closed until further notice

Due to surface water flooding on Flood Street, diversions are now in place. There will be no access to city centre via Wolfe Tone Bridge.
